Q: Why is student visibility more important than bus visibility in winter?

A: Even though buses are designed to be highly visible, students can be obscured by snow, fog, or low light. Making students more visible is the most effective first step to prevent accidents.

Tips:

  • Reflective vests and backpack covers

  • Flashlights or LED clip-ons for younger kids

  • Encourage children to wait in well-lit areas
