The school bus danger zone is the 10-foot area around the bus where children are most at risk of being hit — especially in front of the bus where drivers may not see them.

This zone is responsible for the majority of student fatalities in school bus-related incidents

Traditional lights and mirrors often can’t eliminate danger zone risks. That’s why systems like Gardian Angel project a bright, visible path to help guide students safely outside the bus.
