The danger zone is the 10-foot area around a school bus where children are most at risk of being hit — especially by passing drivers or the bus itself.

These zones are hardest for drivers to see, especially in early morning or evening light.

Lighting this zone is one of the most effective ways to prevent injuries and fatalities. Gardian Angel’s forward lighting system makes children visible and signals drivers to stop — even before they see the stop arm.
