The first week of school is when patterns are unpredictable. Students may be unfamiliar with bus routes, and drivers may be distracted by new traffic patterns.


Encouraging students to wear bright clothing, line up in defined areas, and stay aware of their surroundings helps reduce risk.


Combining behavior education with clear visual cues—reflective markers, subtle lighting, and consistent boarding practices—makes the start of school safer for everyone.
