Gardian Angel® has a way of selling themselves as they prove to meet the needs of our industry. After field testing the Gardian Angel® at Bryant Public Schools, State Director Mike Simmons allows Arkansas to be the 15th state to use the school bus safety lighting system as an "allowed option". Districts may start purchasing the lighting system immediately.

Taken from the 2004-2005 National School Bus Loading & Unloading Survey:

"Arkansas: A boy was unloading and crossing the street when a woman ran the red lights of the bus. The driver of the passing vehicle struck and killed the nine-year-old boy."
