What Time Are Most School Bus Accidents?

Most school bus accidents happen between 6:30–8:30 AM and 2:30–4:30 PM — during student pickup and drop-off times.

Poor visibility, rush hour traffic, and distracted drivers make these hours especially dangerous.

The majority of these incidents occur outside the bus — in the danger zone — not onboard. That’s why improving visibility with forward-facing lighting systems like Gardian Angel is essential.
