Q: What should kids do at dark or dim bus stops?

A:

Stand back from the curb or edge of the road

• Wear bright, reflective, or LED clothing

• Keep attention on traffic, not phones

• Cross only when bus lights are flashing and doors open

• Avoid roughhousing near the street

Tip: Portable visibility lights can be clipped to backpacks or jackets to make students visible up to 500 feet in low-light conditions.
