How Do School Bus Safety Lights Work?

School bus safety lights work by using synchronized, high-visibility LEDs to alert oncoming drivers and guide students to safety zones when loading or unloading.

These lights activate automatically with stop arms or door openings and are designed to improve reaction time for drivers and visibility for students.

The Gardian Angel system projects a visible path for students, even in low-light conditions. It adds an extra layer of safety beyond traditional stop arms and flashers — which some drivers still ignore. The result is a clearer, safer school bus environment.
