No two bus stops are identical.


Urban stops face congestion and multiple lanes of traffic. Suburban stops often include parked vehicles and winding roads. Rural stops may involve higher speeds and limited lighting.


Applying the same assumptions to every environment ignores these differences.


Effective safety planning considers location-specific factors and adapts accordingly. This approach acknowledges that risk varies and so should solutions.
